If you're arriving from Toronto Pearson International Airport
If you are arriving from the Toronto Pearson International Airport and heading straight into McMaster, we suggest you take the route through Queen Elizabeth Way and ON-403 W. While this route is can be very busy, it is the only toll-free route to access Hamilton in a timely manner. The route is particularly busy after 4PM so plan accordingly.

If you are arriving from the John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport and heading straight into McMaster, we suggest you take the route through Hwy 6 N and ON-403 W. It's a short, 15 to 20-minute ride, depending on traffic. Hamilton traffic usually peaks at 5 PM so plan accordingly.

If you're staying at the Visitor's Inn
If you are one of our panelists, you will be staying at the Visitor's Inn in Hamilton. It is the closest hotel to the university, where most of our events and panels will take place. When traveling from the Visitor's Inn to McMaster by car, we suggest going through King St West and Sterling St.

If you're coming to our Special Event on Thursday
On Thursday night, we will be hosting a panel on Youth Activism in Hamilton with young activists at the McMaster University Continuing Education Building located at One James Street North. If you are planning to attend, we recommend taking Hwy 8 as it is the most efficient way to get to downtown Hamilton.

(By Public Transit)
If you are arriving from the Toronto Pearson International Airport and wish to take a GO bus, we recommend you take the Bus #40 towards the Hamilton GO Centre, which leaves Pearson every hour. The trip is an hour and 15 minutes long and from the Hamilton GO Centre you will be able to take public transit to McMaster University or your hotel.
If you are arriving from the John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport, we recommend Hamilton public transit. The fee for the transit is $3.25 as of November 30th, 2022. For more information on public transit within Hamilton, please visit our Transportation tab under Logistics.
