What is Participedia?

Participedia is a global network and crowdsourcing platform for researchers, educators, practitioners, policymakers, activists, and anyone interested in public participation and democratic innovations.

During the conference, there will be an opportunity for participants to be interviewed by our colleagues at Participedia who want to highlight the research that you will be presenting at the conference through their podcast, Just Participation, and their video series, People of Participedia. If you are willing and able to participate, you will be asked the following series of questions around the edges of the conference over coffee and meals:

1. What is one major threat to the protection of the rights of children in 2023?

2. What is one democratic innovation--whether a project, practice, or policy--you see as having a significant influence on child welfare, protections, and children's rights?

3. Describe what you see as the future of child welfare, protections, and children's rights.

If you are interested in learning more about Participedia, you can visit their website by clicking on the PARTICIPEDIA button.
